Get page not found when try to add product

I keep getting a page not found error when I try to create a product under a category. Do I have to

start all over?:|

Do you have sub-cats in this category?
Can have products or sub-cats but not both

I'm having a similar problem... let's hope we don't have to start over!!

Are you getting any other type of error, or just page not found??

IF you could paste the exact error message on the screen it would help ...

How many Product Types are in the dropdown next to the New Product button?

What are their names?

Did you change information in the Product Type, by any chance?

I was getting page not found when I went to add a product too because I had changed the handler page of the General Product (whoops!).

If you select a different product type, does it still not allow you to add a product?
