New Zen cart user needs help, Gallery photos for sale

Hi all,

I am in the process of putting a web site together that will sell artwork, there are about 10-20 different product types but pretty much any of the art works within the gallery can be used on the different products.

To give you an idea the product set will be different size greeting cards, different photo frames and different shapes and sizes of canvas.

At this moment in time I'm using Gallery 2 to create http://www.dedications4you.com but it offers no real e-commerce that fits what I need, I came across Zen cart which looks like it will do exactly what I need but I need some way to make it take photos from gallery or some way to add a huge number of photos in to Zen and link them to different products. I found a gallery add-on that I thought would work but it seems to only support really old versions of Zen. The final result I want will be about 1000 photos but only about 10-20 different products, is this possible?

If anyone could help or at least point me in the right direction I will be more than grateful.

Is each of the products available in all of the photos?

yes they can be

Do you think most folks will buy based on the image or the imprinted item?

I think a little of both, they will browse the photos/artwork and then have the option to buy a product with that artwork on it.

for example user is in some form of gallery, clicks buy, then has a list of different products they can choose.
