Categories menu color

Please....anyone know how to make categories menu with a diferent colour menu. For example: Category 1 will be red, Category 2 will be blue etc.
Any sugestions!

Not and remain a dynamic system as you would have to hardcode this and then adding and additional would not be an easy/dynamic step and you would have to hardcode each addition or deletion

No and as stated how would any mod know what color to make a new category?

You can use images for these or colors or?? But these have to be hard coded and then changes must be dealt with in the same manner.
