USPS shipping method not appearing

Hello,
ZEN newbie here. I have activated the USPS shipping module and added my webtools user ID. However, it doesn not show up on my site as an available shipping method. I realize I may be dense, but am I missing something??

I have the correct address in both store and Shipping/packaging. Am I just being clueless?

Where are you not seeing this?

The Shipping Estimator will not show it until you enter and address ... when not logged in ...

The Shipping Estimator will not show it until you are logged in with a valid address ... when you are logged in ...

The checkout_shipping will not show it if you do not have it installed or enabled in the admin under Modules ... Shipping ...

If you have an error ... make sure that you have contacted USPS to activate your account for the Production server ...

Make sure that you have the current USPS that was released for the May 14th changes by USPS ...

Sorry for the vague description.

I do have all you mentioned configured. If I order an item and click estimate shipping, I get no information for USPS at all. I do have it activated in the admin under the shipping module. At the moment it is the ONLY shipping method that I have active. (For testing this) As such it shows nothing under "Available Shipping Methods"

If you would like to take a look I would be happy to give you an admin account to take a look.

Uninstall it and reinstall it USPS ... then reconfigure it ...

What version of Zen Cart are you running?

Note: if it askes for a password you do not have the current module running ...

If you see any referrence to any other server than the Production or Test, you do not have the current version running ...

If you are set to Test switch to Production as the Test server doesn't always work ...

Make sure your 5 digit Zip Code is valid ... note the words 5 digit ...

I have updated as directed. I swear I did it exactly as your instructions indicate, but under servers there are three when there used to be only two. The new on is "staging". However all said and done I am still in the same place. When I click on estimate shipping, I get no options of any kind. Forgive me if I'm being an idiot here, but I am clueless at this point.

Is there some other option somewhere that I need to enable? Curl perhaps?

I am running version 1.3.7 with the may patch for USPS and the Paypal patch. My zip is valid. I am not getting errors. Just not getting any USPS shipping methods to appear at this point. If I got errors I would feel like I made some progress ;-)

Staging only exists in the old version ...

You need the new version in the Zen Cart v1.3.7.1 release at:

Then uninstall the USPS module and Reinstall the USPS module and configure it ...

Now I'm confused. The USPS.PHP from the "Includes/modules/shipping" in the may patch you linked, contains the following on line 246:

So Why would I NOT have Staging as an option? Is there a problem with the linked package?

In the new release for Zen Cart v1.3.7.1 you will see that Staging is not there because it has been shut down and is not working ...

Any other changes you would also be missing out on ...

Please get the USPS Shipping Module from the Zen Cart v1.3.7.1 or upgrade to v1.3.7.1 for all of the other benefits to it:

I hope I'm not sounding rude at all here. What I'm saying is if you actually look at the files in the exact link you are posting, you will find the line of code I mentioned above. If "Staging"is not supposed to be part of it, then the code you are linking is incorrect. I found that the original install package did not contain the "Staging" reference. However the 1.3.7.1 you link to actually does.

I will download v1.3.7.1 again ... but the copy I have does not have staging in it ...
