    Default Different designs in a site

    Hello
    I can have a design different for each product category? and for a product? including some boxes in a category and in other no? , in fact variations of a same layout.

    Yes, you can do this.
    There are a couple of ways to approach it depending on exactly what you want to do.

    Some elements can be controlled by the stylesheet, so that the information box is not displayed when on a product info page, for example.

    To distinguish between categories, you will need to add some code to get the value of the $cPath variable and execute different statements based on that.

    We can give more specific advice if you post an example of exactly what you want to do.

    If you want very different layouts on different kinds of pages, you can have per-page stylesheets and other files... but this is not likely to be applicable to different categories.

    Thanks to respond !, sorry my english, my language is the spanish.
    What desire is that each category can have for example, a backgroundcolor, a background sound, an image or flash different, to show in them the boxes hide in home and to show banners of specific products. All this to obtain a minimalista design.

    Hello, I again.
    I see that the adjustments in tpl_index_categories.php apply to some categories but not to all like: Free Call Stuff (that the installation example load), please somebody knows since I make to specify each one.
