Calling zen from another server

Is there anyway to form encode or url encode items from another site.
Specifically I have an existing site with lots of content (something zen is definitely not good at), I want to sell some products on the site and click a button or link, and pass the product information to the cart somehow.

Maybe from click the link at mystore.com/product, and it goes to zen.mystore.com/product.

can you explain further please,

we have sites with 100+ Thousand items for sale,
as for content if you are referring to sidebox and page content you can build anything you want, its just up to your imiganation,

its easy to create a sidebox and ezpages is great for custom content,

I don't want to fault zen-cart, but it is not a CMS system so I don't want to replace my CMS with zen, I want to use zen for what it is good for, ecommerce.

That said, if someone clicks and order link from the CMS site, how can I pass it to the zen system?

I can not integrate because this CMS is not mysql and php. If zen can not do it I will still use zen (I am using it for another strict ecommerce site) I was just looking for a way to programmaticlly pass the item info etc to zen.

I don't want to start any flame wars, really, I use zen, but this is a different case.

actually you can possibly use a direct link to a product page but as for passing the information, the sessions are a bit of a killer there
