Moving header_bg

Hi again, folks.

Well, here I am again (and so soon!). Please understand that I usually try to search the archives before I ask, so if I do ask, I haven't found the answer.

Continuing along with the customization of the classic template, I now want my logo to be left-aligned, and my header_bg.jpg to be right-aligned (i.e. they're side-by-side, rather than the logo appearing over header_bg.jpg). I've tried a few things via stylesheet, but no joy. Would someone be kind enough to help me out?

Sorry, I can't, it's still in my development environment. That notwithstanding, can you help anyway? Do you understand what I'm trying to accomplish?

I actually did a work-around. Using the original header_bg.jpg to get the dimensions of the image, I created my own, slightly less wide, with white space on the left-hand side. I uploaded it. I then tweaked the logo directive in stylesheet.css by adding "margin-left:100px;". When i brought up my store, logo and header image were side-by side, with nice margins on either side of the entire header. In other words, with a little thought and effort, I got the desired result, though I'm not sure how elegant a solution it is.
