newbie... adding copy and products for 1st time...

so ummm, how do i add page copy and products? i'm new at this and it seems i'm having to dig for answers. thus far i've successfully installed zen-cart, installed a template and customized that template to look like i wanted.

i don't see any documents that clearly explain how to add products to the store and how to add copy on the pages that have text only. please help.
