Can I remove the site map, gift certificate FAQ, discount coupon and news letter unsubscribe from the information sidebox and replace information like payment method, FAQ? I have actually done the changes for the privacy notice and shipping but not too sure about the site map, gift certificate, discount coupon and news letter unsubscribe.. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks.

The Discount Coupon and Gift Certificates are based on if these Order Total modules are installed or not ...

If you are not using them, you can go to the Modules ... Order Totals ... and turn off the Discount Coupons ot_coupons and the Gift Certificates ot_gv ...

To turn off the Newsletter Subscription Link go to the Configuration ... E-Mail Options ... and turn off:

Display "Newsletter Unsubscribe" Link?
Show "Newsletter Unsubscribe" link in the "Information" side-box?

The Site Map link can be turned off in the Configuration ... Define Page Status ...

Define Site Map Status
Enable the Defined Site Map Link/Text?
0= Link ON, Define Text OFF
1= Link ON, Define Text ON
2= Link OFF, Define Text ON
3= Link OFF, Define Text OFF

You can customize the code anyway you want by adding more links to the sidebox ...

Be sure to use your templates and overrides for customizations ...

The sideboxes are made of two files ...

For example, the Information sidebox uses the files:
/includes/modules/sideboxes/information.php
/includes/templates/template_default/sideboxes/tpl_information.php

You want to use the templates and overrides by copying these files to your template and override directories:
/includes/modules/sideboxes/your_template_dir/information.php
/includes/templates/your_template_dir/sideboxes/tpl_information.php

Then customize the files as needed ...

Add your new code for your links in the information.php ...
