FCKeditor 2.4.3 - Content Editor addon for Zen Cart

Ok I have an older version of this MOD possibly 2.43 (my harddrive and backups died a while ago), and it works fine apart from 2 problems

1) It doesn't seem to appear i the newsletters section, when i go to newsletters FCKeditor is selected however the editor never shows up

2) the following error appears in my stats
/shop/editors/fckeditor/editor/includes/templates/template_default/jscript/jscript_imagehover.js
page not found

I'm not to worried about the second error, however the first one is a bigger problem

Newsletter page was fixed in 1.3.8a, and there's a fix for previous versions in this thread I believe ... The second error is an Image Handler file your missing.

Is this mod not a possibility in 1.3.5? I have a stubborn client who doesn't want to upgrade right now but does want this mod. I gave it a shot but the option to choose FCKeditor doesn't show up in the MYSTORE admin area...

Nevermind! In 1.3.5 there is no toggle to turn it on under MYSTORE than I can find, but I can choose it from define pages editor area and once I use it there it shows up for use under product pages as well!

Hi All,

I have just installed fck editor and having a problem with image uploading:

when I browse the local drive and upload the image to the server, it gives me the message "successfully uploaded", but the image is not there. I have checked and all the dirs are chmod 777


Any ideas of what is wrong here?

Also, when browsing the server for images, it shows no images at all. I guess it should point to /myfiles/image?

hey im also trying for 1 of my store ver 1.3.5!
i tried with this version... it also doesnt show up in my store selection..

i tried to delete the files n install the older fckeditor for ver 1.3.5...
also same thing =\

but saw ur other post that it shows up under define pages... i checked mine...still dont have this option... im using the fck editor for 1.3.5 now..

now trying to change back to fckeditor 243 again..hope it works like u said... troublesome

Ok, I've added FCKeditor to a clients site of ours and I get the following message when I try uploading an image:

"Error creating folder xx/xx/xx/myfiles - Permission denied"

What on earth does this mean?

Did ya CHMOD the directory? Is your Zen in the root directory or deeper?
