    Default Attribute-wise quantity box

We have too many attributes for a single Product with different option values and with every attribute option, prices changes. We want to manage attribute-wise quantity box. So, when a customer clicks the particular product, then he will be displayed all attributes for that product and in front of each attribute box there should appear a quantity box, where the customer will input quantity at there and thus after selecting different quantity for different attributes, he will be than directed for check out and a grand total (Sum of quantity of all attributes) will be displayed. How this can be done ? Can anybody help us ?

I am having the same issue - I need a "Quantity" box displayed next to each option, allow the user to enter a number, and add all the opted products to their cart with one button. I haven't been able to find a solution anywhere. Help anyone?

Hey lordsindia, I found a post that deals with an issue similar to what we are trying to accomplish:

    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35066

Using user "Antz" code, I have been able to add a single dropdown menu to each of my products on the "product listing page instead of having to go to the product info page.

Unfortunately, you have to select 1 value from the dropdown and enter a quantity in the standard "Qty" box, meaning you can still only add one option at a time.

I'm kind of surprised the functionality doesn't exist but that's why these kind of forums exist! I've been finding a lot of people trying to do the same thing.

Presently trying to modify user "Antz" code to get the following functionality:

    Some T-Shirt

    Small [quantity box]
    Medium [quantity box]
    Large [quantity box]
    [ADD TO CART BUTTON]

The user fills in XXquantity for each value, clicks add to cart, and has XXquantity of each option now in his cart.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I need the same solution as the original post. On this page:

    http://sleepywrap.point4design.com/shop/

My client wants the customer to be able to not just select a color option but to have a quantity box next to each color so they can by more than one product at a time. Modifying the product listings page won't work for me because I want to keep the write review/send to friend buttons and I don't think they'll work on product listing pages. Any help?

The example site (sleepywrap.point4design) uses javascript for all its functions. You can't even see the site without js.

You can't get a text box added to a radiobutton, at least not in the stock Zen Cart setup, but you can easily rework the problem so it disappears.

Instead of having the colors be radiobuttons or checkboxes of one "Color" option name, make each color an option name, dropdown type, and give them option values of 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. When adding attributes to the product, make 0 the default, and assign the total price for that quantity. In the product editing page, make the product priced by attributes with base price of 0.

This will show each color with a quantity box where a quantity can be selected. When the product is added to cart, the total will reflect all the color selections, saying Blue 1, Red 3, etc., with the total price. It will probably also say Green 0; I haven't tested the setup to be sure.

    indaskyes:

Were you ever able to complete the coding or find a solution for a multi QTY selection box?

    Some T-Shirt

    Small [quantity box]
    Medium [quantity box]
    Large [quantity box]
    [ADD TO CART BUTTON]

I'm looking at Stock by Attributes, but I'm not sure this is what I'm looking for.

    Thanks,

    John

    Kobra:

I will look at this a bit more since you are sugesting. I did see this, so many example links were dead on the thread I started to wonder. I found one or two similar to this site:
    http://www.diamondbladedealer.com/co...es-c-3_14.html
I could not tell if it was a good representation of the mod or not. Hopefully not.

I really appreciate the quick reply and will check it out.
