I will look at this a bit more since you are sugesting. I did see this, so many example links were dead on the thread I started to wonder. I found one or two similar to this site:

I could not tell if it was a good representation of the mod or not. Hopefully not.

If you just want multi quantity selection and don't need the attribute stock control, the method described in post 7 will do exactly what you are asking for.

The example you give is using the product listing page to display the sizes as individual products under a "Standard Concrete Blades" subcategory - another approach that may work well for some cases.
