Okay. I am completely confused about shipping. Please tell me the easiest way for me to do what I want to do.

I want to use Google checkout exclusively. I have done everything I'm suppose to to get the UPS and USPS to be working when you press the "calculate shipping" button, but now I'm not sure that's the best way for me to go.

Some of the things I sell are so small and so light, that the shipping winds up being more than what they're paying for the product. Other things will need that type of regular shipping quote.

Am I best to just charge a flat rate for each item, either based on weight or based on price, and not use the USPS/UPS estimates at all? If so, how do I go about doing that?

I notice that when I enable other things, aside from USPS & UPS, the Google checkout button greys and says it's no longer available. And if Google does it's own shipping anyway, how do I integrate that into the checkout, if I'm not using the "buy now" buttons? (I'd like people to be able to put more than one thing in their cart.)

I realize I'm getting way out of my league here, but it seems like I've gone this far, I should be able to get the last half mile.
