disabling option values ?

Here is a tricky question, so I will explain it as a working example.

A particular t-shirt can come in different colours (red, blue, green) and different sizes (small, medium, large)

I have created the option names (colour, size) and I have created the option values for these names (red, blue and green for colour) and (small, medium and large) for size.

How can I set it so that if a customer chooses a particular colour (let's say red), they can only choose "small" and "medium" , but "large" is not availaible ?

Thanks for that Kobra.

I installed the "Stock by Attributes" mod, and everything seemed to work fine until I made a purchase in my cart using one of the modded products.

When I arrived in my cart at the "main_page=checkout" page, it came up with the following error:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: zen_get_advertizer_list() in /home/xmanhos/public_html/shop/includes/templates/xman/templates/tpl_checkout_default.php on line 215"

Has anyone had experience with this error before ?

There is a thread for support of this module in the contributions area on this forum and I woul first look through these and post the issue there if it has not been before

As I cannot seem to get the mod working properly, is there another way that you know of to achieve the same result - ie. a work around within zen-cart to do the same thing ?

Guess I should have asked the basic questions first...

Are you using Zen Cart 1.3.7 and patched?

Did you apply the sql patch with the mod?

Have you checked your files for any that might be "0" bytes?

This mod is functioning for so many, that I do not believe that it is the mod itself, and no there is not a work around that is at all eloquent....unless you can live with a seperate product for each variable - this is #of attributes X # of attributes

Or 3 colors times 4 sizes = 12 individual products
