You'll notice a section between the banner and the product listing that says "rev. rev is life science."

I would like to remove this section entirely - how can I do that through the Admin control panel?

Looks to me as though you have a category "rev" with the description "rev is life science".

You can get rid of the description by going to Admin > Catagories/Products and editing the category.

You can also delete the category name, but I would expect that to cause some problems, now or later, and a safer route would be to suppress it's display by adding the following to your stylesheet.
