When credit card module is used, and number is split, the middle eight numbers are being sent in the email, but only the last 4 numbers are included in the order information. Need help urgently! I have reinstalled the module.

Do you have any add-ons?
All digits except the middle should be saved to the database ...
What do you see if you look in the database at the orders table at the field for the cc_number?

The other numbers can be found in the Administration under orders.
When you select an order and click the edit button you can see the missing numbers

The first four numbers of the credit card do not appear in the credit card number box in the order. That's my problem.
And when I check the database, I can't see any field that has anything to do with cc...
what would be the name of the field?
The rest of the numbers are in the admin under orders when you click on edit you can see them![]()

This is my problem Blind1 - they are not there. Only the last 4 numbers appear there in the edit order page. The first four numbers don't appear. I just removed and reinstalled the module, and still nothing. Also, I cannot see any entries in the database which relate to credit cards.
You'll need someone else on that one. Sorry.![]()

Blind1 - you are right, and thanks for leading me down that track. The explanation: I have the manual edit of transaction module installed, which places an 'edit' button down the bottom of the specific order page. So when you mentioned 'edit' that was where I went, and had been. But of course without the module installed, you get to 'edit' by clicking the green 'e' icon. Which after some hours I did, and there was the CC number, minus middle bit.
Why the other path, using the manual edit module, displays only the last 4 digits, is something I don't understand.
But thanks for what was in the situation a complex clue.
Great I am glad you found it.![]()
