Products page cut of with imported table

Hi all,

When I add a excel table to a products page. I found I only get 3/4 of the table and it is cut off!

The whole zen cart page is there. I have been into phpMyAdmin and tried changing pages_html_text to mediumtext and to longtext and the page does not change. This is as per

I have tried adding another product and I can have the page as long as I want it. I even tried pasting the table into word and re importing it from work with no luck.

eeeek!!!!
I suggest that you use neither excel nor word for any web code whatsoever!!!

In the admin select the html editor in admin > tools > defines pages editor
And then load a product and you will have a simple "word" like wysiwyg editor and in the tool bar is an "insert table" selector and be prompted for the columns and rows values or you can read about How to construct a html table here

Thanks for the reply.....But..... I have been using the Catalog > Categories/Products section to add products rather than the EZ pages. There is also a insert table there.

I do know how to code in HTML, but the problem is I have a very long excel table that someone has allreay done and I do not want to sit down and type it all out again!!!!

So from your response I see that Zen Cart is not to happy to import long tables??? It is 3/4 there. When I do a preview just before adding the table I can see it all, its just that when I update it to the web it gets chopped off! So I can import via a copy & paste to the add products section.

Not so much this but more to the ilformed table using excel - and not sized to fit
