"New This Month" in Shopping Cart...

I've managed to quell the "New Products In [this month]" box, though I don't recall how I did it, but when I finally got my shopping cart set up, there it was again, when the cart was emptied!

Could someone save my eyeballs and tell me how to turn off the "New Products In [this month]" box in the shopping cart, as well as everywhere else?

The problem is: I have eliminated the "New Products For [this month]" box from appearing everywhere except when a customer deletes items from the shopping cart. Then the words "Your Shopping Cart is empty" appear, followed by the "What's New" box! I emptied the box by setting Maximum Products at 0, then got rid of the header text, "New Products For July," in english.php, so it doesn't look so bad, but I'm curious to know how the box snuck in in the first place.

BTW- those center boxes have not had "switches" added to them yet. You will need to comment them out in your tpl_shopping_cart_default.php.

Hmm, tried that. Commented out the only line with "whats_new" in it and the cart crashed--wouldn't load on a "Syntax" error.

Thanks for the heads-up on the "switch" issue, though, saved me a lot of scrounging around. Shall leave as is, with an innocent looking empty header bar running across.
