Just remove that image from the css:

body {
background:url(../images/site-bg-blue.gif) 0 9em repeat-x;
}

I think you're using the blue one, correct?

I took out the stripe section in includes/templates/apple_zen/stylesheet.css and nothing happened. I deleted my temp folders and still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Nope, its still there:

Hi, great template just a few little issues,
in my catergries I have documents on my old temlpate they show up in a seperate side box on this template they dont and I only want to display products un der the catergory tab can this be done ?

is it possible to add pages and tabs under the information tab shipping privacy is there but I want to add a few more is this poss?

right sorted the last prob with the use of EZpages...

Now how do I make the page color the same as the buttons ? im using grey and have previously been using the darkness template and want to keep the main pages dark so my pics still blend in ? thanks in advance

I just went into the apple zen image folder and replaced the stripey image with a plain white one. See includes/templates/apple_zen/images/site-bg-green.gif

I guess you could also do it by going into the apple zen stylesheet and removing the instruction to use the image in the first place. In the stylesheet just change:-

background:url(../images/site-bg.gif) 0 8.5em repeat-x;
}

right ive got a big logo now I had to change the text and put a html link in!

now ive got white around the logo ?! ive changed the 2 sidee backgrounds to a gradient effect but need to chage behind the logo?

also how to delete the top bar with signin and seach on si that the logo is right @ the top of the page?
