Yes, it's messed-up that IE compatability view can do strange things to almost every template, even the newer free ones. On applezen, my bottom two banners can appear anywhere in compatability view, sometimes going across the middle of a category page. Other things as well.
I recently installed the Second Category Description Mod and Ultimate Cross Sell (the latter only few days ago.) But although UCS has it's own problems, it appears that the flying out zip code field happens with one column layout. So I went back to applezen's right column:

Link above is my main seo test product. I wanted a one column layout and intended to make several paragraphs of description, essentially turning the product page in to a blog devoted to that product. On Nov 4 it was page 4, position 10 on google. Today it is page 2, position 4 google for search term "Flaunt 91101". So I think my idea can work.

I think site looks less bare with the right column turned on. But seo strategy was to strip product pages of all extraneous text, including all columns, so product text can dominate without dilution. Then use UCS for related products from that category only.
But the zip code field flying to the right just looks too confusing for customers to register.
I'm thinking that maybe I could make/get a custom registration page. If it were 2 columns (the registration itself, still one column site layout), I think it would push the zip code field where it should be. Then try my one column seo strategy again.

The zip code field flys to the right on one column layout (one column is an alternate layout that comes in the Read Me with this template).
Does anyone know how to move the zip code field to the left?
Or where might I find the create account code to attempt to customize a create account page?
When template is set to two cols, zip code fits where it should.

I think I fixed my flying out zip code field with one column layout:

Changed css sheet width from default 85% to 95% as below:
LABEL.inputLabel {
width:95%;
float:left;
margin:.3em 0;
}
This matches up with the 95% width for the Read Me's one column layout option for applezen.
Hope it holds up in most browsers.

I did have the server reset the dbase password last month...
I reset the password and all was working again but now i have a strange problem.
Wholesale Orders: these are created using the plugin... and we
are receiving these order perfectly, there is no use for paypal,
just an email order per say...
Retail Orders: these are giving me the problems...
I have hooked this up to Paypal using the paypal IPN number etc..
It was working fine but as of a week or so has not.
What happens is that the store only realizes an order has been placed once Paypal sends their 'own' order confirmation via email.
There are no notifications coming out of Zen Cart nor is there any record in the ZC Admin Area to show that orders were placed...??
The only thing we can see is when the retail client signed up and how many times they have logged in...
(we have been then emailing new signee to see if they in face placed an order over the past couple of days which is not professional)
Please let me know any advice to have the Retail orders show up and send out system notifications so that all can be proper as was before...
