Hi, I am really new on this , i just install the theme cherry but i dont know the propiet distribution of the columns and single columns, can you send the configuration of the columns show it in your sample, please, thankyou

Open up includes/templates/apple_zen/common/tpl_drop_menu.php and remove the link there.

It worked! I remember trying to remove that link before, but I think I took out too many words or symbols last time because when I would save it, my page was entirely messed up! But it worked this time!

Iam new to this.
I installed this template same as the instruction, Now I see it in the Zen cart admin panel, So I set it as my default template. If I go on my Domain name I still see the classic template. So I created a simple template on front page and called it index.html I uploaded it to a sub domain "dev" when i go the that subdomain url I see the design i uploaded. So the question is, How come I can't see the apple template on the main domain name?
How would I be able to change it around if I can't see what it looks like?

Am I doing something wrong or Do I have to reconfiger something in the Cpanel. I've been reading the forums on the hosting company and they keep refering to index.html and that its the only name that you can sav your site as.

Please help!!!

Wow, you lost me at this point:

You need to upload the template, keep it called "apple_zen" at this point (it will be easier that way, otherwise you have a LOT of folders to rename), then choose the apple zen template in the admin. The template has nothing to do with index.html, that's your home page OUTSIDE of zen cart. Zen cart has nothing do to with index.html. What is your zen cart url?

Well Im confused myself too. What im trying to do is, to be able to see the apple template on my home page. so now when i go my to my website (www.homedecor.net) i see the classic template. But i wanna be able to see the apple template so when i go to change it in the zen admin. i will be able to immediatly see how the change affected my template.

What is the link of your zen cart store? You said you installed in on a subdomain?

if you installed the cart on a sub-domain, then it will show up on the subdomain. If you want it on your main domain, you have to install it there.

Also, if you're using zen cart, you need to delete the index.html.

Let start from square one.

1. uploaded the Include file from the zen template to the include folder on the server under the public_html and www.
2. Went into Zen admin and selected the apple zen from theere and clicked upload.

IS there anything else that Iam suppose to do to be able to see the apple zen in the public domain"homedecoronline.net"??????



Now if I got to my url which is www.homedecoronline.net, Don't I suppose to see the Apple template there? or Should it still be the Default Zen Template?

If I design a template on MS front Page, How much work it takes to like it to Zen Cart so all the comand function properly?]
