First Class USPS

Okay, I've got my shipping modules for UPS and USPS working on both Zen and Google checkout -- BUT -- I don't understand why "first class" refuses to calculate on either since I have it enabled on zen cart.

Any thoughts?

I don't know what I did, but it's working now, so I have another question.

It seems as though if I have some items that are downloadable, and therefore don't require a shipping charge, it screws up Google checkout. I'm using sandbox right now, and when I put items in my cart that require shipping it works fine. But if I put a downloadable item there, it gives a notification that "[company] doesn't ship to this address."

I'm getting rather frustrated with this shipping thing. I did try enabling the "free shipping" module, but that disables google checkout altogether.

How do I allow for *some* items to be free shipping, but not all items?
