Well, i uninstall using the code provided on "uninstall.sql", and try to install again, but after paste the code and send it, it gives me this error (always the same error)

    8 statements processed.
ERROR: Cannot insert configuration_key "" because it already exists
Warning Note: 1 statements ignored. See "upgrade_exceptions" table for additional details.
This sounds strange because I did uninstall the old version and then installed the latest version. I didn't get any error. It looks like you didn't delete the tables properly. That's why when you tried and reinstalled it won't allow duplicate. Did you delete all the related files and run the uninstall sql file in Admin > Tools > Install sql patches? You might want to try manually deleting them in the phpmyadmin. Good luck.

I apologize if this has already been answered - but I couldn't find anything about this with a search of this thread.

What is everyone doing for an ebay description? Are you using it stock or are you using the text in conjunction with some sort of template to make the auction listings look more professional? Is there an easy way to use a template to make all listings look uniform?

I had no problems installing this program and importing 700+ products into Turbo Lister 2.0, but before I go 'live' on ebay, I'd like my ebay listings to look halfway decent.

    Thanks,

Doesn't it just use the HTML you've used in your store already???

Store here can have two meanings: my Zencart store and my eBay store (which I don't have yet).

Yes it uses the description from my Zencart store and will use that as the description on eBay.

I suppose you COULD be suggesting it will use the HTML from my eBay store - but I haven't opened an eBay store yet. I am considering doing this - and then I suppose it uses some sort of format for my listings automatically.

My Zencart store descriptions are much simpler/shorter than what I'd like to see for my eBay listings (ie, contact info, store location, payment options, how soon payment is required, return policy, etc - all stuff located elsewhere on my Zencart store)

I am referring to your Zen Cart store. This is information that should be saved in Turbo Lister, but unfortunately if you import a file it seems to not use any of your saved default settings and therefore the return policy would be blank.

If I personallly used this script I would probably spend more time adding features. If someone wants to take over managing this script I would not object.

    Hello,

I loaded the new version 0.99b and it worked to create a file in the but it still generated errors on the front end of my store and would not display the site. I had to use my backups to recover my site.

What could it possible be? I have a standard database and a few modules that are well made and have been working.

I really need to get this working. I listed the errors in a couple post back..

Please review them and give me a couple suggestions to fix this.

The file I generated in the program cmae out fine however it broke up a few time and added some strange stuff in the file and Im not sure why it did this. I just went threw and deleted these occurences and then the file was okay

    Thank you,

    avel

First, let me say thanks to Numinix for all of his great contributions, I am using almost all of them and I can't thank him enough for spending so much time creating them!

I seem to be having a problem only with this ebay exporter. I am using v.99b with ASA 1.07 which is set to true in the ebay exporter admin panel.

I have been struggling to get the zen ebay csv file to import into Turbo Lister. Turbo Lister would always give me errors and never import anything. When I go to tool>ebay exporter I only have step 1, create listing along with view file. There is no download feature so I have been copying and pasting from the view file window that pops up. When I would paste it into notepad++ and save it as a .csv file and then try to import it into Turbo Lister I would get the error message and no files would be imported.

I got around that issue by replacing all " with nothing in notepad++, now Turbo Lister will import the file but the fields are all off. I started playing around with things and discovered that when I have a comma in the description fields it throws everything off since it's a comma seperated value file. Is there any workaround? Can I add some type of escape for the commas within the description? I'm thinking( and hoping) that once this is fixed I will be able to get this to work correctly so I can imported the 2000+ zen items into my ebay store.

Any advice would be gratefully accepted!

    Thanks!!

    Matt

To download, right click the view file link and click "save as"

In the readme.txt it says to open the csv file with excel or some csv editor, and then save it again. For some reason the file will not import into Turbo Lister unless you perform this extra step.

The quotations are necessary if there are commas within this field. The workaround is stated above. Excel will automatically correct the file so that it can be imported into Turbo Lister.

I've tried imports with 350 products without problems, but 2000+ products may cause Turbo Lister to hang. It's ironic that the biggest auction company has one of the worst import features. I really wish they would support a tabbed or xml file instead of csv...

I've been fiddling around with it and have gotten it to work with some manual changes. I'm using OpenOffice and when the file is saved it automatically encloses every field with " and Turbo Lister doesn't like that so when I try to import the file the fields to select are empty.(if anyone can tell me how to change that in OpenOffice I am all ears!) So then I open the file up in notepad++ and replace all of the " with nothing and manually add " around the item description since it has commas and that works, although there are still fields that aren't filled that need to be redone in Turbo Lister, specifically that it's calculated shipping, insurance required, package dimensions, and item condition(there might be one or two more settings that I am forgetting). I have all of these fields populated in the config settings and use ASA 1.07 which is enabled in the config. I know that this mod doesn't list the shipping type so it has to be manually configured in TL.

There is no mention of how to download the file or that it needs to be opened in a spreadsheet and saved before importing into TL, this is the readme for v.99b. Perhaps it was in an earlier one and didn't make it into the latest readme?

I know, ebay seems to be a bit behind the times with some of their features and technologies.

    Thanks again!

    Matt

Hmm, if it is missing in the readme.txt then it was mentioned in the first post of the thread. In all of my threads I try to put important information in the first couple of posts explaining in depth how a module works and what special steps need to be taken. Sometimes though, I just forget with so many mods,
