Default Which payment method should I offer?

My site is offering Paypal Express and Paypal as the only payment method. However, I notice a number of customers abandon the cart at the checkout step, and some customers emailed me complaining that they are being blocked(?) and can not make the payment.

Well, I myself also feel that being redirected back and forth between paypal and the store (especially if we use Paypal express) is really frustrating.

This is a serious problem for any seller, so I'm looking for other alternative methods that I can offer my customers.
    1. Google checkout is a potential one.
    2. I don't know how Authorize or Linkpoint works, I really prefer a payment method where customers can just enter their CC info on the site, click submit, and the site just do some checking behind the scene and then accept or deny. The main concern is: I really don't want to store those info in my database or email.
As experienced sellers, can you please give me some advices and suggestions about this?

    Regards,

Then you need a Merchant Account and a gateway that can work seamlessly with Zen Cart.

    Thanks Kim.
I have just checked out linkpoint and authorize.net, seem like they are offering exactly what I'm looking for (creditcard number input on my site, all the checking get done behind the scene,....). Can anyone using these payment methods please confirm this?

    Thanks so much.
