using tab-delimited file to populate/update cart

I'm new to zen cart. Use a listing service to sell books through. Can have them FTP to my server a tab delimited file of deletes and adds automatically on a daily basis. Trying to figure out how this is done with zen cart where it populates the cart and and adds new books and deletes ones sold.
