Overwritten index.html

I have overwritten my index.html file with one from another site I'm working on

How can I rectify this, I don't seem to have a backup of the file anwhere.

Hi thanks for the info...I had uploaded an index.html from another site and when I went to the homepage of my zencart site it pointed to the other sites homepage.
I deleted the index.hml from the server and it's back to normal thanks!
What a relief
