How to remove shop name from header?

Hello,
I managed to upload my header image with our shop name and logo already merged.
I removed the tagline but found the only way to remove the shop name text that was over writting my photo header logo was to go into the shop info and delete the shop name.

I am sure by doing it this way I will have ruined many other pages somewhere along the way.

How to remove the text for shop name correctly on the header?

Oh sorry i did not think my URL would be required to fix this problem, as the problem is not visible from my website as I have the required result, just dont think I went the correct way about doing it.

The problem being that now for " Configuration/My store/Store name "
I have nothing there, because as soon as I enter this info i get a huge big ugly Text store name created over my header.

I have added the store name back into "Configuration/My Store/Store name "
So you can see what I am getting at, cheers.

Edit your stylesheet /includes/templates/freeblue/css/stylesheet_new.css :

#nameWrapper a,
#nameWrapper a:visited {
display:none;
}

And that should do.

Hi shirster, I know this post is 9 months old! But I'm having the same problem, but your suggestion didnt work on my site

Although it removed the text, it's now shrunk my header to about half the height, and therefore cutoff some of my logo... I suspect this may be down to the template (free blue).. but any ideas at all?

I chose a different template instead as I found out its merely a fault with the template.
