Adding image border around site

How hard would it be to add the border with diagonal lines in this site to this zen cart site?

Add another <div></div> outside the "mainWrapper" - give it an id and put the image in the background and add a 1px border and the appropriate padding to give the spacing around the edges that you want.

Hi!

I'm very interested on how to get this to work. I'm fairly new to it all and I've been looking everywhere for this topic and I finally found it but I'm confused as to what to do. I would love to put a border on the left and right side of my site. If anyone can ellaborate on what Kim wrote that would be great! :D
