Button Images for category links

Hi,

I would like to replace the Category Links in the header with images that you can click on.

Where do I make such changes. ?

I can see where to turn off the standard Category links in the admin >> configuration but I would rather replace the links with images.

The Categories Dressing mod has the ability to do this for the categories sidebox.
You could adapt that code to do the same in the categories-tabs menu.
