Problems adding products (showing up in admin but not in catalog)

Hey guys, I've been running my Zencart for about a year now without problem. I'm now having an issue where I can add a product and it shows up in admin but will not show up in my catalog.

I tried duplicating a product and changing it's name, but it won't show up in the catalog. I looked at the database for the lines and see that the master_categories_id for the two are different. I tried changing the new version to 0 like the original product but still no luck. Here's what the two lines look like from the database (products table):

I'm runningZen Cart 1.3.6 Database Patch Level: 1.3.6

A little extra research brought me to this post:

Which gave me the answer to fixing my problem:

1. do a full database backup of your mysql data
2. Admin->Tools->Store Manager ---->Reset ALL Products Master Categories ID
