How 2nd language works ?

I have installed other xx lanquage. Allso think that that´s the promlem. When I open document using 2nd admin lanquage only blank page appear.
Anyway I only need 2nd language "shop" but could use original admin.
Otherway thinking:
How do I install second language only for catalog side. Admin "working" language could stay English ewerything else in 2nd language.

After you've installed the 2nd language, you can choose to use either of the language in your admin.

Idea was that there is some problem in xxlanguage files.
So can I install 2nd lanquage only catalog side, not admin.

you can, but u have to include admin/includes/languages
for other lang... simply copy files from
admin/includes/english
directory to
admin/includes/your_lang_dir

and
admin/includes/languages/english.php
to
admin/includes/languages/your_language.php

u will have admin area in english. but that is something expected ;) at least it should work.
