getting rid of owners manual bit on front page

i am having issues i read thrugh the help paages but i cant work out how to get rid of the bit on my front page that says join the 1000s of users that have bought the only comprehensive owners manual and then there is a picture of a book i dont sell books and i cant work out how to change noe of the other bits either i followed the instructions and now it says

If you are talking about the banners at the bottom of the page, they are controlled in the admin section under tools.

It's in /includes/languages/english/html_includes/class/define_main_page.php

If you searched for "lulu" or "have you got yours" in your admin you would have found it.

You might want to give a second thought to purchasing that book,
It is very good, and will help you greatly in setting up and running your cart

now i have done something even worse and i dont know what
i have tried uploading my includes file again to correct the problem ahhhhhhhhhhgh

when you uploaded your includes/files again you overwrote the configure.php

you will need to now manually set it up,


also why would you have uploaded the includes folder again to fix an issue with a define pages

you need to make those changes inside the zen cart admin

using tools -> define page editor

Don't worry, it happens to lots of people. Sure did happened to me when I first started using ZC. After some trial and error you'll get the hang of it :)

Do make use of the override system though.

And what is the permission for your includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php ?
