freeoptions and freeshipper not working

Hi guys,

I am trying to add these modules to an install. Freeshipper is not working at all and when I enable freeoptions the check step 1 of 3 just outputs

Free Shipping 
Free shipping for orders over £40.00

no matter what options I set.

The only thing I can of that may be causing it is the Big Royal Mail extension.

Help would be much appreciated thanks

Welllll...it's been a while since I last did a zen cart installation, so I forgot free shipping for 'total > x' was set up in the order total module and not the shipping module
