Dynamic links?

I guess these questions must be entertained however I couldnt spotted anywhere.

I try to dynamically addressed some links which are based on certain conditions.

1) eg. "logoff" link showed up after log on, if NOT "log on"(as guest browsing), no need to log off....


2) "check out" link only appeared when "shopping cart" is NOT empty.

If there is a quick way(like EZpage) to addressed these dynamic link issues?

The code for both of these is already in includes/templates/template_default/common/tpl_header.php ... where are you trying to put these links?
