    Default Help with linkpoint

    Hello,

I am using zencart version 1.3.6 and am working to configure the linkpoint API. We have to directories on the site to separate our public and private carts. We have copied the cert file to the same location in both directories, and have configured each cart the same. Also, both use the same firewall.

Here is the issue, our public cart works great, charges come through perfectly, our instructor cart does not authorize, and no log entries are present.

Here is the error we receive:

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are presently unable to contact the Credit Card company for authorization. Please contact the Store Owner for payment alternatives.

I have also de-installed the linkpoint module and reinstalled and reconfigured. No luck.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Rob

    Private cart? Explain more?

Sure, to clarify, we have 2 copies of zencart running on our domain, each with their own DB and products. One that the public has access to (publiccart), and one that sell only certified instructor products. (instructorcart) We could not find another way to have only certain products available based on login. Other than the product mix, the carts are exact copies.

Are you using the same account/password settings on both sites ?
What are the permissions on the folder where the PEM file is located? and on the PEM file too?
Are there ANY differences in .htaccess content between the two sites?

Thanks for the help, your post started me really poking around the PEM file.

It turns out that our host had a quota that was not visible that would not allow the file to actually copy, but the name was there with 0 bytes. Once resolved, everything proceeded great!

Amazing how those 0-byte files will bite you ...
That sometimes happens with FTP timeouts too (ie: isn't always just a quota thing, but both are typical causes)
