3 Things - Moreinfo, Newproducts, Space

Hi, I've been trying to find answers to these queries and can't find any resolutions. Your help would be greatly appreciated.


1) Can I remove the more info link, I read one post referring to attributes but the products only have a title, price, image & description - can I remove it?

2) I have the column grid mod which is working on the category products fine, but how do I get it to work for New Products?

3) Finally, how do I remove the spaces under the price and test so they are immediatley underneath, so no double spacing?

Okay I've changed a few things and now I am left with only 2 problems

1) How can I add a break so the image, price etc has a gap above it

2) How do I get the New Products page to be in columns like my products page?

Right so I had another crack and I've solved the break above the image in the listing, just one more thing left and I have searched for days, over a week even and no success.

Please, how do I get my new products page to be a grid (like my category products page

You would have to totally re-write it ...

are friends and have a similar style and pattern to how they are written and how they work ...

Product Listing is its own separate animal ...

Product Listing in Columns is also its own separate animal that is an add-on or re-write to get things displayed as they are ...

I do not believe anyone has attempted this on the other 3 listings ...

In a future release of Zen Cart, we will be working to add more flexibility in the various listings so you can pick and choose which one you like best where and then some ...

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I've played around with the tpl_modules_products_new_listing.php and removed some table row tags so the new products are just in a cell and I have them on the same line now, but can't manage to get them centered.

Any ideas how to center them? I've put a border round just for now so you see what I've removed and where the cells are.

text-align: center; << this is for IE 6 and possibly other IE versions
margin:0 auto; << this is for all other Browsers

By using both in any 'center' class, you should be good.
