To get fussy with shipping you need to put on your coder hat and really get your hands dirty ...

Anything can be written ... but what is it really worth to you to get weird on your shipping rates rather than try to set them so that they work in a more normal manner?

Without a definition of what your way is ... we can only guess ...

As for other items. Our site sells fabric iron-ons. For those, we want the $2/.50 we just discussed, however, we will also be selling Fabric. For that, we need to charge per yard for shipping. Is it possible to split it up like that without programming?

Not really ... unless you were to do the Per Unit perweightunit where the Handling is $1.50 and each product is set to .50 for the iron-ons and then you need to come up with a per yard price, assuming the add to cart is add per yard, and the products_weight is then used to determin the price ...

So if the Fabric were .25 per yard, you would set the products_weight to .25 and when the customer orders 12 yards and 3 iron-ons, this would be

1.50 for the handling = $1.50
12 * .25 for the fabric = $3.00
3 * .50 for the iron-ons = $1.50

Shipping = $6.00
