Help with shipping settings please

Hi,

I've spent a few hours yesterday reading as many posts on shipping and I'm more confused now than when I started. Because ZC is so robust, I'm finding it difficult to find the best configuration for shipping.

Here my shipping situation and hope someone will show be the best way to configure my settings. (I have no problem sending money via paypal to the ZC team :-)


I have a set of six DVDs (1.9 pounds)

Then I have these DVD's listed as singles (0.48 pounds)

There are two shipping locations, USA and anywhere else in the world

The cost for one DVD to ship with drop shipping fee and mail fee is
$6.95 to the USA, international is $7.95

For the full set, USA is $10.95 and international is $12.95

What would be the best way to configure ZC?

I ask because I can't see what's going to happen if someone orders
4 single DVD's or two full sets?

You would need a modified version of per item to build the item count into sets ...

This can get complicated but it should be able to be done if all you have are DVDs ...

Do you sell other products or only the sets?

What distinquishes a set of 6 from 6 single DVDs?

I do have other DVD products that I will be adding to ZC but for now, I just wanted to get up and running with the set of six DVDs and the singles.
Some of the products I will add later are sets that cost 500 dollars.

What distinguishes a set of six DVDs from the single DVD is price. One DVD is 19.95 but if you buy the set, you save like 19 dollars.

More or less there needs to be something to distinguish a Set of 6 DVDs from 1 DVD or maybe there is a way to use the products_weight ...

I have a coder friend too reading up on everything about shipping here trying to find the best way to configure the cart for the current products and adding of future products.
