I'm still in early building and experimenting but am determined to continue with zen cart as it's been relatively easy to get this far (in a short time).
One snag I'm encountering is to force a user to add some text based on an option attribute selection made.
We sell software licenses by platform and I want to ask the user for input when he/she selects "Other". I'm using Radio buttons as that displays the attribute pricing nicely. Example at:
http://www.isam.ca/bzen/index.php?ma...products_id=10
The D96TEST Option Name is only there to see if user input is even possible, and it is and shows up at checkout. What I would like is that if "Other" is selected that a text box is displayed or that the text box in d96test option can be priced.
TIA for any suggestions or even confirmation that it "can" be done without direct coding. I'm trying to keep the initial phase of my building within the confines of setup via admin. After I have it on-line I'll enter the tweak-by code phase, not that I'm an expert php coder![]()

Guess I should have looked before leaping
