Adding Text to Create Account & Split Login

I have a pretty basic question--but I can't find where to add this. I'd like to add a few lines of text for directions on the top of my create account page, as well as on the split login for the user registration. If someone can just point me in the right direction I'll be able to figure it out. Thank you!

Use the admin > tools > developers tool kit > to search for text in the files

Enter some of the text on the page you want to add to and search

You could customize the language file for:
/includes/languages/english/create_account.php

by copying it to your overrides directory and customizing the define for:
TEXT_ORIGIN_LOGIN

Or you could customize the template file ...

Note: login and create_account work together so you want to check both pages to ensure that your additional information is working as you want it ...
