Submit Button in css

I would like to ask how to change the search button in header to an image. The name of the div tag is #navMainSearch and when I specify
#navMainSearch input { etc. } it changes everything ...the textfield where Zou put the text for search and the button too. What can I do, if I would like to specify only button...

OK guys, people are really starting to email me about not being able to register using IE. I am going to attach my screen shots from IE and FF. On FF you will notice the submit button exactly where it should be and you can see the background showing on the right and left. Then on IE you can see the form stretching all the way to the right and the stuff that should be in the right sideboxes is within the form, covering up the submit button.
