Color behind Content??

Greetings Zen Gods!

SO, my husband coded my ZenCart Default to make it look like this:

And, I like it, but I am trying to recreate it with an actual template so I can undo the damage he did by hard cracking the codes and snaking my default template...

I am this far along with the template:

I can't figure out how to get the pretty green color: C6E0DF behind the content like he has it! It is usually white!

In your stylesheet, replace the background color as shown below

background-color: #ffffff; <-- replace this one
text-align: left;
width: 693px;
vertical-align: top;
border: 1px solid #9a9a9a;
