It Worked "Try running that sql patch through your admin, under "tools", "Install sql patches" "

Now If I can figure out The Left and right boxes etc what lable really controls "Sponsers" etc.?

All in All I Think Zen-Cart Is Much Better than OSC Thanks to people like All Of You And A Very Special Thanks For This Great Template, I Plan on Using The Purple Buttons.

One more question how would I use an image background for the center colum or for the whole page for that matter I would like to use the purple buttons with a marbled pink??? background that I have used a long time on a site.

Hi There Bob,

I think you can find a lot of sidebox text you want to change in includes/languages/cherry_zen/english.php.

TIP: Go to "Tools", "Developers Tool Kit" in your admin to search for text you'd like to change, it should tell you in what file it is located.

You'd add the image in includes/templates/cherry_zen/images/, and then open up includes/templates/cherry_zen/css and add the image to the body tag.

I have two frustrating issues pleaging me now though I feel like the

1. If I manage to use a background image file (Which I Really Want To Do) for the Center Colum my right side boxes background dissapears.

2. Centering The Logo in the header box.. I have read and re-read the read me or else, I am sure that it is just something I am missing.

I love this template! I'm pretty new to Zen Cart but I'm catching on...I think.

I made a few changes to update Page 2 under More Information and then I went to check my site and now when I click on one of the categories that has a product in it (the first 2) I get a blank page. I can see the product info if I go directly to one of the new products and I can get the page that says "no products in this category" if I select any of the other categories, but I don't know what I did to get a blank page when I try the first 2 categories that have products in them.

I'm a zen cart and php newbie, so you'll have to excuse my terminology.
I'm using the latest zen cart and your wonderful Cherry zen template.
I've added three logos to my site and managed to get them all working right, but still have a couple of concerns.
First, I had difficulty sizing them.
I followed directions and tried to do it in header.php.
When I edited this file I was able to change the logo and alt text but entering a different size didn't change things.
Under advice from this site I changed the <div id+"logo"> statement in tpl_header.php to include HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH and HEADER_LOGO_HEIGHT.
That made it all work and everything seems fine.
My concern is that you left those out for a reason and I might be causing myself some grief further down the line.
My other question is about this template being fluid.
What exactly happens when viewed on a lager screen.
For example, my three logos, will just the wrapper increase around them? Will they space further apart or will they(shudder) increase in size and distort.
If it's the later should I be uploading larger files then I am displaying?
I know that's a lot to ask, I appreciate any help you can give.

Hi, Jade thanks for the reply.
I had two reasons for the multiple logos.
I wanted to have the freedom to tweak them individually once they were sitting on the page. I'm also considering having one of them rotate once after the page loads.

The main reason was a learning exercise. I'm still trying to get a better understanding of zen cart and php.
More specifically- how all the files work together.
Believe it or not, it took me two days and lots of searching to get them on there as separate adjustable elements, but I learned a few things.

First question. Is your grey sidebar supposed to go all the way up to the search bar? It does in Firefox and Camino.

Your idea will work best if the middle logo stays centered, no matter the width, while the left and right logos stay to the left and right, no matter the width.

This is pretty easy to do, but will require you to move #logo2 to AFTER #logo3.

So open up includes/templates/cherry_zen/common/tpl_header.php and change it to this order;

<div id="logo"></div>
<div id="logo3"></div>
<div id="logo2"></div>

It may seem goofy, but it will work.

Then remove

float:left;

from #logo2 in your stylesheet.css.

I've used your template for many sites that I've built in the past year or so, and am thoroughly impressed. Thanks for providing such a great template to the community!

Here's my question for you (or anybody else)...
Most of the sites I've built with Cherry Zen have been displaying the categories via images on the main page, split into three columns. I have a rather picky client who wants the category name text under the image to be removed because it is "redundant".

I have been unable to figure out which file to edit that would allow me to keep this text from displaying, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all, Fantastic template but I have a couple of minor problems..if you can help.
How can I remove ALL mentions of weight, shipping,in stock as I am only having a Download site.
How can I change the 'tell a friend', 'write review' and 'add to cart' so they appear UNDER the product info box.
