Whenever any of my products goes out of stock, ZenCart automatically disables it as well. Is there anyway to stop this? (Since I want to allow customers to see and request restock if they want)

I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
Admin> Configuration> Stock and set the program to not check stock and allow checkout with no stock

Thanks kuroi,
If I set "not check stock" then customers would be able to buy products that are not in stock? This is not very desirable in my case.
PS: I have just seen the option "Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to", changed it to 1, should work now! Thank you for pointing me to admin->config->stock

The order would be treated as a backorder. An alternative would be to set "Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to" to 1, and rely on customers contacting your manually through the contact page.

If you add/edit a Product and Manually set the Product to be Out of Stock then it is marked products_status = 0 and will not show in your Catalog ...
