Removing Forms and Links at Header

Hi, I have just bought a template from TemplateMonster. I have since read that there are issues with TM that clashes with the original zen cart. However, my question might/ might not be related to this issue.

I have built up some parts of my website (www.nuno-plus.com), mostly adding photos and configuring from zen cart admin panel. However, if you look at my main page, I would like to remove the 'manufacturer, language and currency' form/ bar (?) at the top of the page as I do not need them. I have tried deleting from includes > templates > delta (TM template) > common > tpl_header.php but nothing changes. Did I do this correctly? Can someone pinpoint me to the correct file and folders? I have been reading and searching this forum for a week now before asking questions prematurely, but I cannot seem to find a forum where guidance is provided to a new zen cart user to find the necessary files to alter, such as deleting unwanted links from header or footer (I have only found forums for side boxes) and so on . Most of the time, I dont know which is the correct file to alter as some of them are linked to one another.

I would appreciate some guidance. It seemed like a minor alteration but I cant seem to proceed as I dont know where I should be working on. Thank you. :)

You really need to find out from TM how to remove their changes.

Thank you. Unfortunately TM support team isnt very helpful as every question is asked has been replied with 'for a fee our design team will customize your website in the manner you have decided.'

May I ask, what file/ folder is associated with this link: index.php?main_page=index

The index.php file is virtually empty and I cant seem to find the codes or links necessary to make changes. I am learning by reading this forum but I have problem finding the files and folder of these links.

Search this forum for threads about Template Monster. There is one large ongoing thread in the Zen Pub area which you should read from beginning to end. After you've read that you'll see why you're being told to go back to TM for help.
