Are you "expecting" errors? or just begging for work?

Re: MoneyBookers Payment Module

I installed the Moneybookers payment module that is on this site and the one that is being advertised.

The payment module on the Zen Cart forums is not working for me.
This is what's happening..

My default currency is the ZAR (South African Rand). But when a customer makes a purchase and checks out they get to he moneybookers site and the price in $$ is displayed. Which I don't want!

Customers freak out as there not familiar with the currency, don't know the exchange rate and are afraid there getting ripped off.

What can I do to make this module see and use my default currency?? Moneybookers has no problem with my default currency.

I even tried the other module talked about earlier in this thread. That one didn't work at all. It would 'try' to do the correct currency but no matter what the transaction amount was, when you go to the checkout at Moneybookers the sale amount comes up as ZAR 1.00 or ZAR 2.00 and it says Invalid Amount.

This literally has me going crazy. I need to either FORCE it to do ZAR (Rands) or let it use what ever currency the customer is using in the cart. Either one will work for me at this stage of the game. I just don't want to lose more sales because the wrong currency is being displayed at checkout and I don't want to pay conversion fees because the South Africa Payments are being converted to Dollars and Back to South African Rands.. for no reason at all :(

(Moneybookers Payments go to my South African bank account)

As far as preference as to what moneybookers module I use.. I don't care.. as long as it works :)

Please help me with this

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated~

Re: MoneyBookers Payment Module

Hi,
Will this module work for credit card processing also?
We have a merchant account with Moneybookers for accepting cards, and to be honest I am struggling to get it all set up correctly.

I look forward to seeing how this progresses.

Re: MoneyBookers Payment Module

As far as I know it will.

I installed the module on my cart but don't use moneybookers for credit cards so customers are not given that option.

But, if I did use moneybookers to process payments I'm sure it would work fine.

Note:
I don't spend much time in the forum but have subscribed to this thread. If you run into a problem with the moneybookers module just mention it here and I'll try to help you out wherever I can.

The moneybookers module is pretty simple..
If you want an real nightmare try the google checkout module. LOL

What happens if you remove the ebay.php file from the extra_functions folder ... don't delete the file just move it out of that folder.
