Linked product order

I'm trying to copy a restaurant menu to Zen Cart.
One meal ((Pekín Duck) shares Duck menu and Special Food categories.
In my Duck Menu is the fourth element (let say, order: 40)
In my Special Food is the 12 element (let's say, order: 120)

Is it possible to do it?

Or the easy way: should I copy it?

I am afraid that the products_sort_order field is unique to the Product and not to the Category ...

I think the only way you can do this without a lot of custom coding is to use multiple Products ...

Depending on how your site is setup this may or may not present issues ...

Ok,

I don't like the idea but decided to copy that Duck product!!!

But, obviously, I'll have problems keeping both 'definitions' updated. Then, ... it comes to my mind one suggestion (maybe already implemented):

Is it possible to add a 'internal comment' to a product?

I mean, in this case is useful to me write something like: "The duck is in both categories, here and there". But in some cases could be a comment like "Have to get a new photo, this one is too old". Even an "Ok" comment would be useful.

This comment is only INTERNAL, the frontend won't see anything!!! It's only to remember unsolved things about a product.

Should I add it to my wish list?

Not sure if it would work but have you looked in to Cross Sell and see if this can be adapted?
