    Default Help with html additions

I've added some html information in the html_header file to display under the logo and above the categories and header. I have discovered that this information also overlays onto any popups such as the shipping estimator and larger image popup.

What other file could I put this information in so it would display under the logo, but not overlay on the popups. CSS?

Is it possible to leave the information were it is in the html_header, copy and rename the file (i.e. html_header2) and have the popup files look for this new file?

It would help to provide a link to the page you are talking about.

My first thought is that the file that you should be editing is tpl_header.php, not html_header, but I would have to see exactly what you are trying to add.

Either way, there should be a way to hide it in the popup windows using CSS.

Idea or Suggestion Re: Help with html additions

The additions are "We don't sell firearms - so if you are
looking for Rifles? Click Here" and the Send, Blog, Print, & Save toolbar.
The link to my site is http://www.onestophuntersshop.com
When you go there if you will click on an item to view and then click the larger image link you will see the additions are overlayed into the popup.

...and you added those things in which file?

... and as Dr. Phil would say "How's that workin' for 'ya?"

Perhaps you would like to re-think that strategy after reading the tutorials on how to customize template overrides in the FAQ section.
