Time for you to get the Firefox Web Developer extension if you haven't already, and look up the classes that control the elements you want to move (the Information > Display Element Information button is your friend!) Then you can add them to your stylesheet and add padding or margins to taste.

    Hi.

Thanks for your help once again, but I think the problem was that my centre box is too small. So is there a way I can display the products as a list rather than a grid?

    Thanks!

I can't answer that for certain without knowing just which display you are talking about. But in general, there should be settings in admin > Configuration > Maximum Values for max number of products to display per row for various kinds of listings. Setting the right one to 2 instead of 3 should help.
Also, a link to your site would make it easier to offer good advice.

    True!!!

    My site is www.sonicksolaire.co.uk

Specifically I'm talking about the featured products on the main page, I'd like them to be a list (like the search results) rather than a grid.

Thank you so much! And your shop is cool. For your help, I can do a reciprocal link on my site if you want?

Configuration > Index Listing > Featured Products Columns per Row - set to 1.

The centerboxes have different properties than the actual listing pages (more abbreviated), so you won't get the exact same style as the search or featured products listing.

Thanks, I'm glad you like our shop. We're only doing links with sites actually related to us, though.

Nick - honey - you need to do some SERIOUS image optimizing - http://www.websiteoptimization.com/s...solaire.co.uk/

    Thanks, both of you.

Which file would I need to edit to change the style of display of the featured items on the main page?

kim, I had no idea! What do I need to do to make the site optimized? I used Adobe Image Ready and reduced the original pics to 60% quality etc, and the smallest I can make a pic is between 30k and 90k per image... The link you gave me said the whole page should be under 30k, I don't know if that can be possible!

Also, it said it found no title for my site, but i have set it in the Meta Tags / English file etc, why is this?

    Thanks!

Reduce your base ("small") image files to the actual thumbnail dimensions you want, e.g. 100x120 px. You should be able to make your relatively simple images no more than 2-3k each at that size. Medium and large images can be larger filesizes.

Read some of the info in the forum on images - There is a good sticky at the top of the First Steps & General Customization Issues subforum.

    I'm confused now :S

When I'm adding a product to my catalog, and upload the image, how do I upload a different smaller file size one for use on the main page / search etc, and a different larger one for the info page?

The image optimizing sticky and the FAQ give good explanations of these questions.
