Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)

The only stupid question is "Are we there yet?" before you even pull out of the driveway :)

Clicked it several times with no results.

I downloaded another copy of admin/xsell_advanced.php to run a compare between the two and now it's working fine. Did a compare between the one that wasn't working and the one that is and it appears to me that one should remember to set the keyboard lock when one gets up to go somewhere while a keyboard batting cat is around. There were a few "extra" characters hither and yon that look suspiciously like cat-type in the file that wasn't working. Oh well, at least Amy saved her work like a good programmer LOLOL.

Thanks bunches and I really do appreciate the mod. It will work wonders on a site I'm setting up.

Yellow1912, could I please add a request for a future version? I am sure that this would be most helpful and beneficial for every user.

Add a quantity box and a check box for each cross sell item on the product info display page. The customer can then add the quantity that they want and by selecting the check box that item would get added to the main product when added to cart. One of my vendors has this on their site, written in asp, and it is a great feature. This way, a customer can add everything they need in one page with a single add to cart action.

Is it possible to list a category in a cross sell instead of a product?

We offer a wide variety of choices. For instance, if a customer is on a blank drum shell, they will want to choose drum hoops, lugs, etc. We offer a lot of different types of hoops and lugs, so instead of listing a single product type it would be nice to offer the category instead.

Also, on another note, any idea on how to put a quantity box along with the cross sell? Ideally, I would like to be able to allow a customer to be able to enter quantities into the boxes, and click a check box to allow the selected items to be added to the cart at the same time as the main product. I have a couple of vendors with .asp sites that have this feature and it's really handy.

Hello

I just installed cross sell original (first time), in admin , seems to be working fine after I ran .sql but at the live site the product pages diappeared . When I click on product on category , black page shows up (see link below).

Please advise.
